Chris started working with Waterstone Design in 2012 having left a Contracting Company where he was responsible for overseeing the electrical installations on a large development in Deptford. Chris has brought a wealth of on site installation experience with him to Waterstone Design having been largely involved with electrical installations in previous roles. Chris became an Associate in 2014 and assists with the daily management of both the Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, as well as assisting the CAD Manager in prioritising workloads within the CAD Department to ensure the appropriate deadlines are met.
Some of the main projects that Chris is involved with are detailed below:
Payne’s and Borthwick Wharves, Deptford
Chris is the Electrical Engineer on this on this mixed use Thames riverside development at Deptford Creek for Ardmore Construction. Following demolition of the existing Borthwick Wharf building, the listed facades of Payne’s Wharf were retained and are being incorporated within the new development. Seven separate blocks (up to 16 storey) will provide 257 new apartments together with 35,000ft² of commercial space and an underground car park for 200 cars.
Horizons, Canary Wharf
Chris is the Lead Engineer on the above project which consists of 190 No. residential units and gym area, over 2 blocks containing 24 No. floors, together with a large under ground car park.
London House, Goodenough College, Kings Cross
Waterstone Design were instructed to complete the mechanical and electrical design to the refurbishment of this college, and Chris is the Electrical Engineer providing the design and inspections of the installations by the Electrical Contractors.
Wallis Fields, Phases 1 and 2, Maidstone, Kent
Chris is the Lead Engineer on this project which consists of 51 No. houses and 18 No. flats within Phase 1, and 41 houses and 36 flats within Phase 2, together with a commercial / community space.
