Residential Blocks

The development proposed approximately 73 residential units across a building of varying height, with flexibility (A1, A2, B1) commercial floor space at ground level.

Waterstone Design were appointed to prepare a detailed Energy Strategy, which provided a feasibility study into provision of low carbon and renewable technologies, in line with the relevant local and national planning policy requirements. From this study, the report summarised the most appropriate options available within the sites constraints, in order of the total predicted energy demands through low and zero carbon technologies.

Sample stage SAP and SBEM assessments were calculated as a basis of the report and a Code for Sustainable Homes in line with The London Plan, which demands a Level 4 target with the adoption of energy efficient solutions and early efficient proposals.
